David is a very experienced HR consultant and former senior officer with a track record of achievement in Human Resources, Education & Children’s Services. He has been a consultant for the last six years handling a variety of assignments in over twenty local authorities as well as other public and private sector bodies. David was Head of HR in a successful unitary council for five years as well as holding a variety of Senior Officer and Assistant Director positions in Education and Children’s Services within the public sector.
David has specialised in the provision of in depth investigatory services and advice in respect of grievance and discipline. Many cases have been complex with the capacity to adversely impact on employee relationships and the reputation of the organisation. He has also been involved in mediation services as well as the provision of coaching and mentoring to managers across several councils. He is fully trained in mediation, coaching and mentoring as well as participating in ACAS professional development activities on workplace investigations.
A further area of expertise relates to advisory services in respect of the management of change and the need to restructure senior management within organisations. David has also played a key role as a Head of HR and as a consultant in the recruitment of senior managers, including Chief Executives.

Julia started her career in Retail operations for Lewis’s Ltd, Littlewoods and Mackays where she learned about the challenges of people management at an early age. After discovering her passion for people development she became a trainer at Help the Aged. This gave her real insight to working under tight budgets and being creative with very little resource. A stint as UK Training Manager for Dedicated Micros, (CCTV and video surveillance equipment) was a leap into the field of a fast moving technology market.
