Interventions may be individual or group based and will align to either the needs of the organisation, the individual(s) or both. After 30 years in local government I decided to step outside and run my own business 3F Consulting (www.3fconsulting.co.uk). I support people to be more engaged at work, which I deliver through motivational training and one to one coaching, and I help organisations to communicate what they do through creative and down to earth messaging. I love facilitating away days and conferences – I’m often brought in to keep events pacey, yet productive. I’ve been successful in coaching people into new senior leadership positions too.

I am a facilitator for Fresh Air Fridays (www.freshairfridays.co.uk) which I intend to bring to local government as it’s very practical wellbeing support involving “taking you outside so you feel good on the inside”, in short it’s coaching in the open air in small groups, often on a Friday!

My last role was on the shared management team of Wychavon and Malvern Hills Councils. I managed all the corporate wide services from strategy, performance and communications to member services, elections and customer services.

I’m known for my energy and excitement, which in turn rubs off on others. I’m also known for my love of new challenges – whether that’s setting out a new strategy, a new change programme or running a marathon!

I have over 25 years’ experience in development, management and senior management positions across the public and third sectors. My career has been spent across education, community development, and health and social care. I have been a senior manager at the Open University, worked for the social care regulator in Wales, a local council, and have also established and run a successful children’s charity. My qualifications include an MBA, Coaching Certificate, NLP Master Practitioner and APM project management. I am also an experienced Action Learning Set facilitator and spent 8 years as a member of the Open University’s Internal Coaching Network, coaching managers and teams across the University.

My expertise lies in: asking the right questions, seeing the bigger picture, connecting across silos, bringing the right people together and helping find solutions to challenging and complex problems.

Lesley

Lesley combines a wide range of skills and experience having worked in the public sector for over 20 years, 11 years as a Director of Human Resources and Organisational Development in two NHS Trusts with over 30 years as a qualified CIPD professional.

Since late 2006 Lesley has worked independently specialising as an executive coach and tutor delivering many different coaching and mentoring programmes including ILM 5 and 7 programmes.

Lesley now specialises in individual and team coaching, CPD and supervision for coaches and mentors, encouraging organisations to maximise their use of coaching, mediation training and taking a coaching approach to complex mediation cases as well as acting as a facilitator to small and large groups to encourage everyone to have a voice.

Louis 

Louis is a Leadership Coach with over 20 years’ experience in leadership roles in both the private and public sectors.

His assignments have provided him with exposure to sectors as wide ranging as telecoms, energy, finance, charities and the prison service. He combines his extensive industry experience, with his academic knowledge of psychology, and his ongoing development as a coach to great effect, helping his clients navigate challenges as diverse as managing strategic change, handling effective conversations, and mentally preparing for resettlement following a prison sentence.

He is always in demand as a coach and is currently providing his services to ‘C’ level and senior executives in Vodafone, Legal & General and BP.

Sue has over 30 years’ local government experience, the last 12 of which were in corporate organisational development at management level in a unitary council. She has extensive experience in the development and implementation of corporate learning & development interventions, as well as implementing organisational wide eLearning together with designing blended solutions and Learning Management Systems.

Sue has developed and implemented a variety of leadership programmes ranging from pre management programmes to senior leadership development programmes, accredited with ILM and underpinned by bespoke competencies, 360 degree appraisal and coaching. 

Sue is a Licensed Suzy Lamplugh Personal Safety trainer and has broad experience of delivering all aspects of this training to a variety of audiences. She has also supported the production of policy and best practice guidelines.
